Ethnic Voices is a powerful vocal instrument for beatmakers, composers, and sound designers seeking fresh, emotional textures that cut through the mix. Built for urban music production, it solves the common struggle of overused vocal libraries by offering an authentic collection of traditional baltic region female vocals — rich with raw energy and cinematic depth.

Designed for expressive two-layer playback, it lets you seamlessly blend rhythmic vocal loops with one-shots, giving you dynamic control over phrasing, movement, and tone. Whether you’re scoring film, building hooks, or producing atmospheric intros and breakdowns, Ethnic Voices delivers the originality your workflow has been missing.

Play Captivating Melodies

The instrument is played by simultaneously triggering two types of sounds: Multi Layer and One Shot Layer. Play chords, single melodies and use the balance knob to blend the layers. Multi layers are short looping phrases that thanks to time-stretching engine follow your session’s tempo. One shot layers are 1-3 second long samples of vowels, adlibs or chants. There are 75 multi layer samples and 69 one shot layer samples.

Industry-standard Kontakt sampler provides the instrument with powerful array of sound effects. Reverb, delay, filter cutoff, tape overdrive and more effect settings are pre-designed under the hood and waiting to be automated for lively sound creation.

Unique Vocal Performances

With an academic background in ethnomusicology, our team was looking for vocal sound that could bring new influences into contemporary music production. We’ve focused on the chest resonating singing tradition used during the Old Believer rituals in Baltic region. As a result, Ethnic Voices instrument is based on hours of vocal recording sessions.
